Planning my Evo future

Hey all, first post.

I'm a new Evo owner ('06 IX) and I'm absolutely loving the car and the community... EvoM is a great resource! I've spent the past week hitting the Search button over and over

I'm not really planning on HEAVILY modifying my Evo, but over the next 2 years, I was hoping to implement the following mods in this order/grouping:

3M Clear Bra
Ravelco Immobilizing Anti-Theft Device
Viper 5000 Two-Way Alarm System
---
Beltronics Pro RX-65 Radar Detector
Beltronics RX-65 Direct Hard Wire Cord Kit
---
Mitsubishi Aftermarket Radio Audio & Power Harness
Alpine KCA-121B Aux Input Adapter
Alpine CDA-9856 CD/MP3/WMA Receiver
---
K&N Drop-In Air Filter
Walbro 255 Evo Fuel Pump Kit
Megan Racing Turbo Outlet O2 Housing
Buschur/Warrtalon EVO IX Stage 1
- Forge UNOS Black Manual Boost Controller
- Evolution Column Mount Gauge Pod Kit
- Autometer Sport-comp 30-0-30 Boost Gauge
- Buschur Racing 3" Turboback Exhaust w/Magnaflow & HFC
- Buschr Evo IX Stage 1 ECU Flash

Does that seem like a good plan for someone who doesn't wanna invest more than $2000 in mods? Let me know, thanks in advance!

I'm hoping this will put me at 375bhp, 335whp

i would consider a diff bov, diff drop in K&n tends 2 be 2 oily, mbc is fine, boost gauge i would say maybe stewart warner not expensive but seems to be better than autometer (which i have now and it gets stuck quite a few times). tb look in the for sale section many people post them for sale at great prices i just saw a ams i believe tb for like 700 w a hfc so the noice won't be 2 bad.

Every Thing Looks Good except the BOV and You should invest in a fuel pump. A lower IC pipe Will also compliment that too.

You might want to consider buying the stage 1 or the wartalon package from buscher racing you get all the stuff you want for a discount. I got mine for 12 hundred and to answer the other question hell ya you will be over 300 awhp

Thanks for the feedback!

OK, so how about the APS Twin Vent Blow Off Valve?

And as for the fuel pump, is the Walbro 255 sufficient or should I spring for the Buschr Modified? Once again, I don't plan on replacing cams/intake mani/exhaust mani, etc.

Thanks again!

Uh, no, why do you want to spend $200+ on a BOV? Your stock BOV is as good as it gets. Please don't buy a BOV for no reason. I haven't heard of a Buschur modified fuel pump - we all use the Walbro 255.

Just get the Warrtalon package - it has everything you need and most of what you listed for a great price that includes shipping. Click on my sig link to see details.

Aight, thanks all for your feedback. I've made some changes to the original post. Anything else that's cheap and worth doing?

I know I can get IC piping, but would I need a re-tune to take advantage or does it really just allow me to run more boost (like 25-26psi) ?

Thanks again.
