That saying was a running joke on Usenet before web-based forums even came into existence. It was (almost) the ultimate auto-flame.

first of all installing the kit with the parts i had given them just means running some braided lines the ENTIRE install takes 2 hours
he MAYBE did half of the install
i dont care at all i dont need to make him happy i tried with the full refund thats all im willing to do and ill say it again
all you evo-ny guys backing this guy up is very funny since you dont know the situation you are getting his side of the story where he was wronged
and my side of the story which is as close to the nuetral story
im also not playing innocent as i said i messed up and didnt ship 100% of the peices at first and also missed him when we were meeting in nyc
once again i called him 2 times no answer no skin off my back
if i had truley forgotten we were gonna meet up i woudlnt have had the parts in MY FRIENDS wrx wagon give me a break

this post might as well get deleted all thats coming from it is this guys buddys comin in and saying i owe him 75$ and then clear minded 3rd party people saying he should have accepted the refund in the end its over and theres nothing more i can do

just have the mods block anyone with a new york IP from posting an opinion since it will be tainted

So, it's OK to rob the buyer of at least 2 hours of labor - not to mention the time and effort spent in tracking you down - because you sold him a kit that wasn't what it was advertised to be? Fascinating logic.

he'd get a full refund for the kit if he sent it back. life isn't fair. sometimes you get nothing for your efforts. at least a full refund is something. he lost some time. boo hoo. he's a cop so he makes what? 40-45k a year? its not like he's a doctor or anything. plus as soon as he gets it he's going to go set up some races and johnny tran and vince are going to blow his car up anyhow. those guys are straight up thugs

Errr...not everyone who lives in NY is a member of a club. I live Upstate and have no affiliation with anyone. Regardless, basing a ban on one's location reeks of a bias too disgusting to contemplate.

Right, it's our fault. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with you not including any sort of indicator of intent. At the risk of stating the obvious, a smiley doesn't mean that you're supposedly joking. Try taking some responsibilit for your actions, instead of blaming others for your deed.

Yes, he is.

He's also a troll, but that's a different can of worms.

no, don't think so. i'm not defending my self against something that so obviously wouldn't happen. you're just an idiot for thinking the mod's would actually do that upon request or thinking that i thought they would. i've been here a hell of a lot longer than you have and i know how things go down here. take your gullibility elsewhere

haha yes very true
anyway i have been screwed many many times in my life and most of those times a full refund would have made me very happy but i was never offered this
just like he wanted 2 hours of his precious life i too had wasted time and whatnot in the end it doesnt matter he declined the refund which if he was TRULEY unhappy he would have accepted i know there were times in my life where a full refund would have been AWESOME compared to what i got
buyer beware as they say
even more so on the internet im not a vendor nor a bussiness i do not need to back my products in anyway
and like a person trying to truley help someone out i offered a full refund he declinded meaning he will accept what he got and what he paid

Unless you have a crystal ball, you have no idea what I'm thinking. Like everyone else, I can only go by what I read and your comments were simply insipid. Seeing how PessimiStick just took this opportunity to lick his wounds from the other day, you two can feel free to mimic a boy flick shower scene.
