Bored with my Evo IX
Take it to a road course and drive the **** out of it. Just make sure to have money for brake pads, rotors, tires, entry fees, brake fluid, oil, tranny fluids, all that good stuff
Man.... like 20 people have given the same "take it to a road course" response. What's the point of repeating something that's already been said before?
Anyway, I was in the same boat as you EVILEVO. I put my evo IX up for sale on autotrader even... actually it's still there. I did something with my Evo that changed my mind and it's something that you can do (and it's something that hasn't been said 20 times already
)
TAKE IT TO THE DIRT! ACUTALLY PUT THAT "GRAVEL" SETTING TO GOOD USE. I did and it was some of the most fun that I have had in a while... for me and my wife. Find some good desert or dry lake bed and have at it. Pretend that you are Tommi Mackinen or Petter Solberg for an afternoon and kick up some rooster tails of sand. You can't do that with any domestic sportscar.... but you sure as hell can do it with your Evo and do it well.
Do it, Do it.... gin and tonic, Do it.

or get some beefy upgrades, like suspension, clutch, cams, racing seats and harness, dont know man

You are not tired of your EVO per se. I think you are basically burned out with your daily drive and it's extending to your weekend driving as well. I would not worry too much about it. I went through a period when I was getting bored with my MR. After checking out a bunch of other cars like the S4, M3s, etc. I decided that I was basically burned out with driving period. After a while I got over it and I'm enjoying driving my EVO in my daily commute. Sure, I get tired of the daily commute too, and I find that I don't have the time and energy for weekrnd drives either... I guess I gotta make time for a drive to North Georgia and to the Dragon one of these days... I need a fix of twisties driving and some beautiful country touring as well. I did that with my supercharged Miata and it was great!!
just go drive some other cars and you will see that the evo is a lot better....everytime i drive my mom's accord or my sister's jeep or whatever it feels like i'm driving a tank...
....it's funny though...i never noticed this until i bought an evo....i've never driven any car that handles as well as the evo....of course i've never had porshe's or any pricey car like that so i can't compare to those....but compared to average cars like a 300zx or 350z the evo handles a lot better

definitely take it to the track. The Evo shines in the curves, its not a straight line car. I'm kinda bored with mine also, just because you know it has so much power / potential but the streets are not the place.
A track even will fix you right up
