Road course is the best option and gets repeated often because this car shines when pushed to the limit. Its so forgiving that you have a very low risk of flying off the track and so predictable that you can take a lot more time to learn the line.

If this doesn't appeal to you, then sell your car. The Evo is a terrible everyday driver with base Civic riding smoother around town. This car is a track car and thats where it belongs.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I do daily drive a civic all week. My car lives on race gas and 32psi of boost. but like some people said racing is not for the streets! I really do try to obey the laws at all times, even with srt4's and cameros reving on me and tempting me to race, I just feel as if my car is to fast and someone could pull in front of one of us and thats it . . . over, I kill someone, lose my GF, my house, my car, my life.....just not worth it you know... I really think I might try a track day!

trust me you will feel more confident in the EVO once you get to know the limits of that car.......i would recommend that you have a seasoned driver ride along to help teach you a few things you have learned and perfect a few that you already know.

far to often i see drivers with cars that are far past their skill level.....those guys usally hurt themselfs or others =(.....or sell the car for something slower/safer.

+50 to tracking the EVO......plus its a F%$ken rush!

The exciting thing about the damn car is how you can drive it...if you aren't a driving enthusiast go find a nice cadillac. Otherwise, start in on some open lapping days, canyon carving, auto-x, whatever floats your boat.

I mean my car is fast enough, looks decent, runs great. Its just lately I have gotten very burnt out with it, Its a weekend car and even on the weekend Im not really that intrested in driving it anymore. I played Gran Turismo for the longest time dreaming of owning a Evo, in 2004 I bought my first evo 8, and last november (2005) I bought my Evo IX. Dont get me wrong I love my car, and I know I cant sell it because I would miss it the second its gone. Im just looking for a few serious ideas, what can I do to get siked up about my Evo again? Im crazy I know but anyone, any help?

"I wanna fall in love with my Evo again!"
Sometimes you meet a woman, and she immediately knocks you off your feet. She seems like the perfect girl, only to find out down the line that she falls out of favor. She's always treated you well, and you've shared some wonderful times, but the magic is gone. There is no rhyme or reason for your feelings that have fallen by the wayside; they just have.

You can get her a makeover, or buy her a new expensive coat to make her look like high society, but all in all, they're just band-aids to a deeper issue. You're simply just ready to move on. At this point of moving on, let her go, and wish her well in the arms of another man, and hope that he will be as loving and as caring as you once were. Bode her no ill will as she fades into your past.
