Mini Batteries... Are they Garbage? Waste of Money?
I have not had a single customer with any problems with our kits which use the premium Odyssey batteries.
These kits are a great way to save 20+lbs, free up usable space and add some shine under the hood

everybody laughs at my 11lb Dekka battery, but it shaved over 20lbs off of my front end.

I recently had to send my turbo back for some warranty work and I forgot to disconnect my battery. After two weeks it was dead, but I put it on the charger overnight and it is as good as new now.

I used to have problems with my mini battery in my last car when I didn't use a tender. I started using a tender to keep the battery from discharging while it sat in the garage for long periods of time. Haven't had any problems since.

It physically looks exactly like a genesys battery http://www.batterystore.com/Yuasa/G12V13AH.htm
My experience with the one I got with Buschur is it was great for almost 3 years, then this past fall it stopped holding a charge for more than a few days.. I replaced it with a Odyssey and it can sit for a week. So either the battery got deeply discharged and is sulfated and needs to be conditioned, or its just wearing out after almost 3 years. As far as I can tell their both made by the same manufacturer..

I'd like to weigh in...my 1.5 year old Odyssey PC-680 was sitting for ~5 weeks up until last week - and it started up on the first crank.
It started up in 5 degree weather today w/ no issues either.

I've used a Braille 11lb for two years in two different STIs now I'm starting to use a 9lb Deka in my Evo. I never had a problem using small batteries year round- just don't plan on sitting in a parking lot with six 15" subs and NWA. I also use the Battery Tender when the car sits for more than a week.

New 2006 Subaru TR with a 2.5 liter engine. Built a mini battery kit for these. -4 degrees F this morning, cranked right up no problem.
