anyone deal with member "evolved69" before?

This is a heads up for EVOm members...

I paid member "evolved69" $450 for what was supposed to be an HKS TITANIUM turbo back exhaust which he posted for sale in this thread:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=237626

what I was sent though wasn't even close to what he described in his post. I received an HKS Hi-Power cat back exhaust. This exhaust isn't titanium like he listed and its not even a full 3" in diameter, only 2.5".

I also received a DP and testpipe that don't match, the DP looks like a generic EBAY DP and is only 2.75" in diameter. The testpipe is a full 3" in diameter but has a 2 bolt flange on one end and a v-band on the other so I can even use it.

when I contacted evolved69 about the 'mix-up' and asked for an explaniation and refund his response was "tuff, no refunds, I'm not about to pay for shipping again". You would think someone such as evolved69 who can pay AMS to put together a gt42r EVO with over 1000hp would at least be the slightest bit honest and trust worthy.

I am a firm believer in karma and what comes around goes around. evolved69 will get whats coming to him. I also wanted to know if anyone else has been ripped of by this scum ball?

imo it would be hard to fight something like that in court esp when theres not alot of proof of everything being exchanged and it wouldnt be worth it for $500 spent, by the time you get a lawyer and court costs you would spend way over that.

I did use paypal. I've already filed a complaint with paypal after trying to first resolve it with the seller.

Paypal's response was this"We have completed our investigation of this case. No further action is required by you at this time. We have denied this claim. As stated in our User Agreement, PayPal’s Buyer Complaint Policy only applies to the shipment of goods, not to disputes about the attributes or quality of the goods received. We have noted your claim in the seller's record. The seller's account privileges will be limited if excessive complaints are received."

what a joke they are...

wth paypal sucks, did you recieve all of the exhaust yet? if not then write them back saying u didnt recieve everything. if not small claims?

you would think after spending that much to get the highest hp evo he wouldnt be complaining about something as stupid as shipping costs. especially since he was willing to lose most of the money he spent once his project was done by selling it to start a new project

call ur cc company paypal screwed me over when an ebay seller received 680 dollars form me never shipped the item. They contact the seller all he did was provide a fake tracking number and they closed my case. I contacted them to see if they tracked it to come to the conclusion, their reply no we do not track all the seller has to do is provide tracking number. So much for customer protection, anyways i called my cc company and got a refund for the money

You have your facts messed up. The guy's name is Anthony and his family has money not him. If you want to resolve this problem maybe you should get in contact with his father.

Paypals protection is a JOKE! I got ripped of on ebay when I bought a club. A completely fake different club came and after I filed a claim they simply stated that the fraudulent seller provided a tracking number, and I got SOMETHING so they would not refund my money! This is even after ebay sent me an email saying it was fraudulent and not to pay! I have done many transactions through paypal and ebay, and now I really think they both SUCK for protecting us!!!
