Evo Profiling
The Evo is the WORST kind of car to own as a teenager.. Firstly because you need experience, second because if you look younger in a car, your more likely to get pulled over anyway, then add on the flashy "Aftermarket looking" parts and the reputation and your guaranteed to get pulled over.
As you get more experience, you generally aren't as afraid of getting pulled over, and generally drive more naturally and less "paranoid" if there is a cop behind you.. Its just the nature of things.. I remember having this real paranoia, and I'd get pulled over every time.. When I stopped worrying and caring, I stopped getting pulled over.

im 17 with n evo, with GT35r setup..
n im doing just fine! not a single ticket (besides some stupid obstrucrting roadway when i was next to someone)
I believe you didnt read. HE WAS UNABLE TO PAY HIS BILL BC HE WASNT HOME. And BTW i dont think the cop noticed that it was expired right away or he prolly wouldve ticketed him earlier. He followed him first so even if he did pay he still wouldve been followed. Reading FTW!!
im sorry to hear that man, for some reason these cars are cop magnets. whenever i drive past one in my car i get that look and then their head turning and flowing my car while i drive past them. just have to watch them
Idk if your making this up or not, but it's not very mature...Why not just pull over and be polite?? thats what i do and i don't have any traffic violations, it's just a thing i do
Sorry to hear about your story...I would agree with every1 else, just bring in the current regi and your golden
In PA they have random radars set up that shows your speed. It isn't a bad idea because most jackasses slow down way under the speed limit when they pass them even though there is no cop around and no cameras. They have 2 digits, so if you pass it at over 100 mph, the display reads "ER."
I know that where Im at I see an average of 10-12 cops daily going to and from work. The only time Ive been spoken to by any law enforcement in my evo was when I had pulled into a gas station one night to get some gas and the cop pulled up right behind me and jumps out of the squad car like a crazy ***, I thought I had done something wrong but just continued to do my business as usual. The trooper took a long walk around the car and was eyeballin it like he was a fat kid drooling over some candy. So finally while I was in the process of pumping my gas he comes up to me and asks "is this an evo?" I replied yes and then we started to talk about cars....turns out he has a '99 gsx that runs 11's. Not all cops are a$$holes just like not all evo drivers are immature idiots. Its always the few that spoil it for the rest of us.
Watch me get a ticket later today for something stupid...lol (knocking on wood)

He didn't profile you. He had a legitimate reason to pull you over, regardless of what the case may be. Did you have any type of documentation in your car stating that you paid for your registration?
Also, if Evos are being profiled, Evo drivers did it to themselves. Whether it was you, or someone else, stereotypes are all based on somewhat factual occurences. If the majority of Evo drivers are ******** on the road, then it's going to happen. It's no different for us STi/STI guys.
Don't want attention, I'm sure Buick or Saturn has a Christmas sale going on.

well man i hate to tell you, but you had an expired registration. you cant say he "profiled", you cant say "he pulled me over for nothing." you had a violation and you got a ticket. simple as that, could have been a civic, buick, or whatever. sorry to hear though, 90 bones is steep.
