I would never ditch my wing just to attract less cops. Thats of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Thats like sayin "the ladies really like my hair so Im gonna shave it off!"

The stupid wing has nothing to do with it, imo. If you are breaking the law, you are breaking the law, plain and simple. If you receive an "obstruction of view" ticket, take it to court, it will get thrown away.

I just turned 18, and I despise those who are determined to believe that young kids shouldn't drive an evo

And for the record, I was just pulled over 2 nights ago in my evo. and I got my FIRST WARNING EVER for speeding. Every other time I have always gotten tickets(in a different kind of car) The cop lectured me on "if I would have given you a ticket, you would have lost your license"

Apparently he has never used a lawyer, for that would have been my 7th ticket, 4th for speeding.

As for the original post...you paid your reg, therefore the ticket will be dismissed. It is not your fault that the tags have not arrived via the postal service yet. As for the profiling...it does happen, not so mucj to the fast and furious movie(s), but the complete DUMB ASSES who street race, and injure, or kill the innocent people. Face it, we don't drive sentra's or cadilacs. Even if your 85 years old in a Ferrari, you will get tailed. But we TRULY can't complain, we knew what would happen when we went to the dealer and wrote the check, and drove the car home. OH, and FWIW....alot of cops may seem like DIC&'S, but ALL admire the car in their minds during a traffic stop!

This is hilarious, you get pulled over for breaking the law and think it's profiling?

I got pulled over while driving my fathers jeep with veterans plates for a taillight that was out, I better go warn jeep drivers that thar be profilers out there!

I don't agree with Sinister's comment. It's those damn Fast and Furious movies. Oh yeah. I hate Civics.
You can thank Mitsubishi for that one. I thank Subaru for keepin' it real.

The trooper took a long walk around the car and was eyeballin it like he was a fat kid drooling over some candy. So finally while I was in the process of pumping my gas he comes up to me and asks "is this an evo?" I replied yes and then we started to talk about cars....turns out he has a '99 gsx that runs 11's. Not all cops are a$$holes just like not all evo drivers are immature idiots. Its always the few that spoil it for the rest of us.

Watch me get a ticket later today for something stupid...lol (knocking on wood)
Well, you know what they say....One bad apple spoils the bunch....

Me too! But I did end up having an entire differential replaced because of a poorly shimmed pinion bearing from the factory. The bearing could've been replaced but since it was such a labor-intensive job, Subaru recommended to replace the entire differential assembly.

Did the differential fail? I don't know. Draw your own conclusion. I look at it as a bearing failure, but some look at it as a differential failure......

THANK YOU...
Man... People really do act like they're the most polite people on the streets...
But its really a waste of an evo if you let that happen.
I mean.. Why an evo then?
Its not like its the best looking car for its price... Not even close.
And picking up the ladies only comes once a while...
