My Road Trip to AMS
.
because i want a 35r too
i might stop by chicago indoor racing tonight, than im heading home...wish me luck. The dyno numbers are what they are, AMS said they cant do anything to improve it, I drove it around and it definately feels like a powerful car, I might get it looked at again to make sure there are no bugs, and put it on a dyno in CT to see what it reads there. Thanks everyone and Im out for the next half day or so while I drive home

Hold on bro, let me get this right. Are you saying that I don't use my head to work on aircraft. I hate to tell you that working on something as complex as an aircraft takes a little brains to work on. Everytime I touch that aircraft, the pilots and aircrew are trusting me with their lives. I'm sorry but aircraft maintenance is a job with a ton of responsibility and I feel should get paid as such. That's what pisses me off - why is it O.K. for someone like Junior to get what he's worth but it's not O.K. for a military aircraft mechanic, sherrifs deputy, firefighter, or grade school teacher to get what they are worth. I don't buy that bulls^%$ your selling about the only people entitled to good money are the lucky few that succeed at "owning their own business". Personally, I don't want to do what Junior does and I definetly don't want to sit behind a desk all day. There are "blue collar" jobs out there that pay good money. People that do skilled jobs do actually make money which is why I'm getting out to become a Certified BMW Diagnostic Tech. My friend turned me onto this and he graduated from UTI and got picked up for the BMW STEP program. He had to do a one year apprenticeship where he earned 14 bucks and hour but after that he got hired as a full time Level 3 BMW Diagnostic Tech making 27 and hour. He's been doing this for the past 5 years and is now a Certified BMW Master Tech and pulls down 85 grand a year. I don't wish to be "white collar" and the only way I want my own business is if I could open a custom hot rod shop like Boyd Coddington or Chip Foose. I like my EVO but my true passion is for old school hot rods and muscle cars. The main reason I'm getting out the military is because I really don't enjoy what I do. I hate flying and the military rules and regulations are getting on my nerves after 8 years - I simply can't do it anymore for the pathetic paycheck I recieve after 8 years of service. It's time to go do something I enjoy and I can't wait for 2008.
