So is the boost controller the only reason the power was down when AMS tuned the car

From the looks of it the boost controller wasnt really messed with. Ams gave us the car with 369whp and it wasnt really feeling that strong, my friend and I read through the manual and optimized the settings to where the car was a lot more responsive...but without doing anything AMS gave us the car with 369 when Turbotrix gave us the car with 402whp so there was a good difference between the way the car was tuned.

with the AEM EMS it clocked at 438whp...and thats where it stands right now...

Man...just went through 30 pages of this thread, hell of a story, glad it turned out alright. I don't see why AMS left it at 369whp...I have a buddy who has made a few trips to AMS yielding great results with his Evo, and two buddies with tuning appts coming up this spring (RB26 s14 and 944 Turbo) and I'm interested to see what they will be able to do with them. Junior, how did you end up getting your GPS taken care of? Looking for for pics...
