I paid $300 for McCulloch look alike. They're all made in China. But worked kick ***! 5000k was super bright, much brighter than stock crap. Vendor was Hidplace or something...

Thanks for the reply Spyderx - I've been looking at wrecked Evo's, and have been somewhat scared of finding one with stock HID's - because of the cost of the stock lamps. For that cost, I can replace both lamps for nearly 1/4th the cost. Good product, I'm trusting?

HID expert makes his own kits that kick ***. He uses denso ballast and phlips bulbs. The kit is the best you can get for the money.

Only $266, cant find a better kit for the money or any other more expensive kit.

I just bought and installed the xenondepot.com 4300k Philips-based kit. Overall I am very satisfied. The halogen projectors do leave some hotspots and I'm sure OEM are brighter and have a better beam pattern but compared to stock there is a definite improvement. It doesn't hurt that they look good too.

i thought getting aftermarket HIS were illegal? oh well if cops stopp you you get a fixed ticket... the other day i visited a auto shop and they were offering some HALO HIDs for $65 a pair i was like ddaaaanggg and the guy is like they also have 2 years warranty so if they go bad you get a replacement from us.

Are these HALO HIDs good by any chance?

+1 Get a kit that uses either philips/hella ballasts or denso ballasts.
