Honestly I think you would be better off buying one with the airbag intact since, last I checked, Mitsu doesn't even sell it separate of the wheel

He has alot of other things for sale on there looks like a complete partout. Just for a heads up. So are you saying it wouldn't work? Could you not put air bag from a old one onto this one?

Yeah, if you could find an airbag separate of a Evolution steering wheel then you could swap it in. Problem might be finding the air bag though.

no i'm asking a different question then what he answered. I was asking if it was possible to take the steering wheel off my car and take the airbag off of the old SW and put the airbag on the SW i just bought and install it and not cause any problems.. being srs light etc.

Ok, I think I understand now. If you are taking new SW and using the old SW air bag - it should work fine (no SRS).

I wish there was some kind of "how to" on steering wheels. I think i'm gonna do one once i figure it out. Anyway thanks for the help. Greatly appreciated.

Anytime. I think there is a how-to, not an official how to, but someone on here posted up all the steps.

It's very straight forward once you look at the assembly and I thought I did answer your question in my post. I said that it was possible, just didn't know if you needed an old air bag, finding one that has not been deployed is the hard part.
