Okay so 2 problems. Please help

First of hello to all and hows it going? I havent really been in the forums for a while now. Okay so my problems. The first is that when my car is cold and after warming it up until the needle is a lil above the first line when i start to engage the clutch in first gear my car actually hops and it seems like the clutch is skipping?slipping. It only recently started doing this. Why is this and is something wrong? The second thing is that when i down shift and engage the clutch slowly with little glass i will actually here a whining noise. Why is this please help?

Thanks for the help in advance,
Zac

Sounds like you need more practice on a manual trans.

The 1st problem can be solved by adjusting your clutch engagement out a little and as far as i know the 2nd issue sounds completely normal. You're going to hear a lot of strange noises come out of this thing....if it gets really bad then it might be a transfer case issue.

An all wheel drive car requires more finesse with the clutch than a two wheel drive car does.A lot more parts to put into motion than a normal car.

slip ur clutch. first should be easy cause u cant let it out as fast. in all ur other gears let it out faster but make sure its already engaged and dont just let the clutch pedal out.

i too have started to experience the shuddering while in reverse and sometimes in first gear. it appears to shake and feels like it wants to stall, but i assume as everyone said its just the way you drive. funny thing is this just started happening to me recently. soo i dont know.
