2.4 Liter Engines For Evo! [MERGED]
there are quite a few 2.3 liter eclipses running around and yeah the extra displacement is nice but you are trading off for rpms. The bigger bore and stroke you put on the motor usually the lower yourrpm redline goes. Also if you get too thin with the walls of the block your at a higher risk for cracking the block and losing comression if your running high boost. I guess it just depends on if your car is daily driven or not.

OMG. Do you really think I meant all of drag racing? As in top fuel nitromethane rail cars? I was speaking in the context of this thread. The top DSM drag people using 2.0's versus stroked 2.4's. Thank you.
