Custom Evo Stereo
Here is one pic of many others you can see of my EVO in the process of being stipped down and torn apart to make way for a custom stereo. I'll post more pics as soon as I finish building it. Check back sometime next week.

Okay now originally I was going to say that this 15,000 dollar venture was rediculous but I'm not going to do that being as you are more than likely a serious audiophile or show car person. So Okay I'll give you that but if it were me I would put the 15,000 in performance . Goodluck though and please post when more progress has been made .

Hey if there were no people like me then all the car shows would be lame... think about it... anyway I had a choice to make it fast or look cool...I could have paid 15,000 in traffic tickets

I checked out all the pics on your website. What kind of rear speakers are those?
Also, you might want to do a few performance mods to make up for the extra added weight that system is going to bring. Looks sweet so far, keep the pics coming!
One more thing. Are you going to Dynamat all the door and trunk? I only ask, because I'm thinking about Dynamat on my doors, and I'm wondering if its ok to just take all that plastic wrap off (provided I remount and cups or mounts or holes or whatever).

I don't want to flame you or anything, but if you were planning to add a $15K system and being an audiophile in mind, you shouldn't have bought the Evo. The Evo is a performance car, NOT some show car you can win those cheesy awards with. If you wanted to do that, you could've gotten a regular Lancer and done that. But hey, its your money so you spend it the way you want to. Just don't expect to find a lot of support here.
