Hi Guys,
i only just noticed this recently, so i can't confirm if it's happened before.

My car details are as follows:
2006 Evo IX GSR
13k miles odo
1 year old

Recently i noticed that when i turn my ignition off and the turbo timer kicks in, the ACD Triple lights will light up and then disappear after about 1 sec back to one light.

Also, when i turn on the car, the triple lights will light up for about 1 sec and then go off back to one around about the same time that the CEL goes off.

There was one time about 1 week ago that i accidentally cranked the car while the engine was already on and this brought the triple lights on as well. I switched the car off and turned it back on and it was back to normal.

Other than the scenarios above, my ACD light is normal, only one light on at any time and it can switched between TARMAC, GRAVEL and SNOW at the press of the button.

Is there something wrong with my ACD or is this normal behaviour?

I believe its normal like a system check or something like that,when i turn my car off and the turbo timer activates my abs lights up for a sec.

 

what your saying is the car is fine.... so the car is fine. lol

 

thanks ... i did notice once that when i switched off and it activated teh turbo timer, that the ACD triple lights did turn on and it stayed on until i turned the car on and off again. This has happened once only since i started noticing it for about a month.

I'm wondering whether it's that easy to activate the ACD light ....

this is normal... dont worry

 

im pretty sure that mitsubishi says "when all ACD lights are lit at once then your in flymode" it should hover for about a moment then the wheels fold in and then takeoff is pretty easily.....lol

 

Is part of the bulb Check Sequence. As long as all three don't stay on when your driving you in the clear.
