Hey, I am still new to the whole turbo scene and I my question/concern is that while at 4000rpm and up my car seems to have basically no engine braking while decelerating. I understand that the turbo is still spooling, but if when I finally get a custom tune will that fix my problem/concern? Any ideas let me know.

 

mine is the same i think its b/c of the low compressio ration of the turbo cars

 

05's and later evo's are like that.
If you were on more than 30-40% throttle, it will try to burn off excess fuel.
This is why it seems like you're still on slight throttle for a few seconds.

My car does the same thing.
My 03 never did it though.
It's not a big deal for me.

 

Correct, it is an emissions feature. To turn this happens to drop the RPMs back to normal - push the clutch in/out a few times, this will "turn off" is code.
