I have had the foot slipping problem too. I also found that during long drives with a steady foot (I.E. interstate) my feet were really hurting. I ended up investing in some piloti driving shoes. THEY FEEL GREAT! They have great peddle feel, no more slipping, and my feet don't get tired nearly as fast if at all. I love these friggin shoes. Just though i would share.

I have an extra set of Puma's that dont leave my car so everytime its wet ill just change shoes when im in the car and be set!
