the windows are not tinted 50% from the factory.

i have had a ralliart with 35% tint on the front 20% on the back for two years. never got pulled over for it in NJ. just one time i got pulled over for speeding so i rolled both front windows down and he asked if i had tint on them and i sed no so he made me roll them up hahah.. and i still didnt get a ticket. now i have the evo and havnt had problems yet <knock on wood> good luck with your ticket and hopefully you wont have to remove your tints
