10 things you dislike on your Evo?
I personally before I purchased my Evo I was looking at the STI. But It just seems like everytime I drove I always saw one. It's like a 350Z you have a young guy driving it, a young girl driving it, a old school teacher driving it, and a retired lunch lady driving it. It just wasn't anything special. There's probobly a reason why they never made A BUTT load of evo's
Isn't it easier to reply in only one post? Edit button has a purpose.
It seems there are all kinds of smart people in your area, who u think drives EVOs?
STI/Evos are very balanced cars and I liked them both.
I dont think I have 10 things I dislike about my STI and almost none of the above apply.
Curb Weight:, 3263 lbs (EV0), 3219 lbs (EVO RS), 3285 lbs (EVO MR)

But hey, you gotta love that pimp-tastic Subaru blue, gold and pink color scheme!
And yes your car is ugly.
I don't know, the stock audio system sounds pretty good to me. You gotta tune it up though, change the bass and treble. Yeah, and I wish they still had the intercooler spray. I was looking forward to that.
I do see a lot more STi's than Evo's, but then again why would you want to drive a car everyone has? That's like everyone wearing the same shirt and pants.

Dont forget the Evo's are faster in the 1/4 mile and around a track.

My car is ugly and I know but I'm happy with it, nice sound system awesome paint job great torque and awesome fit and finish, HIDs, etc......
every time I get into my car and see the interiors compared to Evo's makes me feel good I bought the STI.
As for the water spraying I don't care IO never use it its just useless.

Maybe this thread answer your question!
10 things you dislike on your Evo?
Some people sacrifice a little performance for not having to deal with those basic and small complaints posted above that really bothers sometimes. Maybe Evos are faster at the track or 1/4 mile but I wanted a reliable, practical daily driver. And performance is a matter of $$$$ Im getting my stage II this week so I hope I could keep up with stock evos soon.

If you ask me, I'd favor the Subbie over the Evo for performance reasons. The STI 2.5L boxer engine has a displacement advantage, a weight advantage, and also a lower center of gravity advantage (overall the car was better engineered), and I won't even mention the DCCD (which is freaking AWESOME!). The only thing the Evo has over the STI is power capability (its easier to add power to the Evo without blowing anything up). This power capability is why Evo's do better at the circuit or dragstrip. High power STI's do just as well as the Evo's however it is harder to maintain reliability at a high power level with an aluminum boxer engine (not to mention the fact that it costs WAY MORE money to modify these engines extensively). You should be proud of your STI's performance and design, not just it's fancy smancy interior. Personally, I think the STI is a much better overall car than the Evo. However, my affinity for the 4G63 and it power capability keeps me loyal. Once the Evo X comes out, I don't think I'll be buying another Mitsubishi car ever again, however the new STI looks pretty disappointing as well.

Stock Radio (the speakers are at least decent)
Climate controls compared to Euro/Aussie/Evo X
The way the 75mph marker on the speedo is just slightly off... it really bugs me for some reason
No rear diffuser on the USDM bumper
Cruise control would have been nice, but after a month I don't miss it (and I don't want drive by wire or bad pedal feel)
Other than that I love the car!

Oh, and to sonicnofadz^^
I prefer the evo seats. ACD is less driver control but does the job well. Here is my problem with the boxer... I always loved the idea, but simplicity in the 4g63 trumps the complexity of a boxer for me. You can pull off some nice tricks with a boxer setup, but (especially when FI gets involved) things are much more complicated (which also means more expensive) when you have to cross over the engine like that.

So bottom line, it's the interior that you like the most about the Subbie?! Thats a **** poor reason to buy an STI over the Evo.

You are loyal to your Evo because of the engine and I like my STI because its practicability, performance, less lag, etc... not only interiors.
