What track results have to do with all complaints people have about their Evo's?
Did I ever mentioned track times?
Did I said Evos are slow?

You dont have most of those problems with the STI.

1-The 5 speed in the non MR cars
I have never been a fan of 5 speed cars. I cruise on the freeway quite a bit, and I am always looking to put it into 6th (I drive a lot of 6 speed cars for my job, so its habit)

 

You come on an Evo forum and have the audacity to tell them not to be fanboy's of their cars? Just how many times were you dropped on your head?

Wow buddy you really are a tard. Your right you didn't mention track times but I figured I'd mention some facts due to the fact that you opinion had bloated this thread. How does that foot taste?

1-10. The attention from dumb subaru fanboys.

 

It seems only Evo owners can have an opinion here judging by what you and some other fanboys say. Learn the diference between being a fan boy and a car enthusiast. No one should be a fan boy.

Fanboys = Fanatic kids that cant take any opinions or face facts and are not willing to learn or accept anything beside their beliefs on any subject.

Car enthusiast = a whole-hearted devotion to cars pursuing constant knowledge in the subject. Willing to learn and open to other opinions.

Move on kids no car is perfect. I'm happy with my STI and I'm sure you are with your cars, learn to take others opinions even if they aren't the same as yours.

In my book, cheap interiors, cheap paint is not something I'm looking for on a $30,000+ car................ but Mitsubishi has never been known for having good fit and finish on their cars so thats not something will stop people from buying Evo's.

 

I really dont care much about track times I use my car for daily drive. probably if I wanted to break into the 10 secs or race my car in the track Id choose the EVO but thats not the case I took my car were I wanted without compromising its practicability.

I magine you and other kids never get into any other car forums even if you like them just because you have a different car. I'm not pleased to hear what people dislike about their cars.

 

Whoa whoa whoa. Alfa-rooby? I have worked with alfa's, and subarus are infinitely better that POS Alfas. A tech here drives a 164, its just a glorified taurus. Subaru's are much more fun to drive than those italian piles of sheeot

Yea I've noticed that too. However, if you were to get into the right subaru thread, you'd find people calling the EVO a cheap pile of crap, thin painted rattle trap with wheels bolted directly to fenders. agreed. GOD I LOVE MY EVO.
But the funny gear noises when you first start driving are annoying. and turbo lag is terrifying if you forget to compensate for it.

 

Not all of them just a bunch, so sad they cant take opinions.
And insult others to make their point, closed minded fanboys like 06evors, Bonestock!, etc.........make the rest look bad. I like EVO's though its just they are not for me.

yeah, it seems like a lot of evo guys have the "STi suck a$$" atittudes. I think one thing that you guys are missing is neither car would be where it is today, if it wasnt for the other. I agree, the evo motor is killer and i think thats the main reason it is superior, but its also been around for a very long time. Give subaru more time and the gap will come closer.
