There are quite a few cars that are cheaper but have more options or the ones people seem to want. The Evo wasn't meant to be a luxury car. I doubt it if this forum backed by this many sponsors, would want to invest money in something that just doesn't drive "fun". The price we pay is for an excellent powertrain and handling we get from it.

 

fun, fun, fun and handling is amazing, but is there a way to turn off the ACD?

 

1) Unwanted attention.
2) Ricers want to race me.
3) Insurance
4) Payment
5) Crappy radio/interior

but all these issues people list come with the car. its well known, and thats what i love about the car. its not perfect. Thats why im trying to make it perfect for me.

#1 - I feel like I'm a minority driving it because I'm white
#2 - 50% of the Evo's I see are all riced out. They are the new Civic.

 

Where do you live?

1) I hate how I'm scared to put miles on it
2) I guess there are cheaper things out there and it does put a whole in my pocket

Other than that I absolutely love this car, the community, and the way people react to it. I always told my self I wasn't going to get another 4 cylinder, but am impressed by the power this one puts out. LOVE THIS CARRRRRR

1.) No cruise - only wish I had when I am nearing the end of my 3 hr drive. New seats and lower brackets help relieve the annoyance a bit.
2.) Stock integrated shift light into the console or even an audible tone would of been nice.
3.) Fading calipers are annoying, easy to fix but annoying.
4.) MAF, should be speed density from factory
5.) My VIII - open front diff,

 

1) i cant take every corner WOT
2) i cant leave my cutout open all the time
3) the interior is too pretty to cut up/remove/replace with roll cage

 

ive only had the car a few months now and these bother me alot.

1. turn radius, makes it look like i cant park/u turn.
2. everything rattles. mystery noise comes from every inch of the dash
3. interior noise is really loud, i can hear every gear turn and every tire rotation..
4. phantom problem with my brakes. some times it sounds like it gets stuck and makes squeaky noises
5. cops. they just like looking at the car
6. attention you get people trying to race. in dt sj, ive had a few drunk people try to race me. *slurring*"yo! can your lan evo take my impala?!?!?!"

Other than that, the car is a blast to drive and I will be keeping this car for a longggg time.

no cruise, but thats pretty much it. i drive close to 9 hours to school one way and it feels like my foot is going to fall off my ankle by the time i get 5 hours into it.
