10 things you dislike on your Evo?
I dont know why people are QQ'ing about the turning radius. Its great and not even my GSX had a turning radius like a evo, not many cars do. The onr thing i hate is the **** speakers. I mean my mom's 05 galant has better speakers then the evo. Then that STUPID RATTLING!!! coming from the back speakers.

It's interesting to watch this thread evolve (no pun intended). We started with many original owners, folks who consciously plunked down thirty five grand on the (arguably) biggest automotive bargain of our era. Those folks knew what they were getting into and many of their comments reflect the notion. Today we have 3rd, 4th, and 5th owners many of whom bought abused, bastardized examples of the breed, and who would have never paid the entrance fee for this machine brand new. As such, their comments reflect a different ideal. Can't wait to see what the next few years will bring.
I bought this (05) car for $15,000, perfect, one owner, clean, stock. Still smells new.
For $15,000, i think it's a fair car, anything over that and I wouldn't think it's worth it. The driving experience is great, but the fit and finish, and overall design is barely keeping up with a honda from 10 years ago. I sold an e60 m5 to pick this up. So I agree with what you're saying, I personally wouldn't have paid asking price new for this thing, it's not worth it, as awesome and capable as it is, it's really a large toy.
i think it's really really stupid to pay what these things were going for new, not to mention most out here in CA were marked up big time.

I think some people are way to Evo crazy. I mean comon its a car. Its not GOD. Funny reading the comments from a few years back. Everyone is free to their opinion. Don't take it personal. I cant believe this community sometimes LOL.
Nothing personal about it. I know that these thing are way more expensive in Europe. There are trade offs to be made when cutting costs on a car. I wish the 8's came with the ayc but they were remove to make the price easier to handle.
I got lucky in the sense that Ive never owned a car with power locks or windows, then I bought an 05 RS, so it didnt feel like a sacrafice. The only bad thing I noticed was the comfort of the ride, but Im usually having too much fun to care! My passengers are the ones who complain!
What's it matter? lol You spend 30k or 15k, you still have the right to complain
After paying 31k for this car, I feel I have MORE of a "right" to complain than 2nd hand people.
Any who, I do agree, some of these 2nd hand+ owners have problems that I have NEVER heard of or even came across. Gas door? Codes? Sounds like people went "mod crazy" and messed up some good cars.

I havent found a single thing to dislike about mine.
Its 7 years old, has 82k miles. It has faded clear on the wing, curb rash on the wheels, and a boost leak in the intercooler.
Still the funnest car I have ever driven. At this point in its life I dont expect it to be perfect, thus, its a fix-me-up. And boy has it been fun fixing her up.
