There's a cross brace behind the rear seats that make a folding option useless.

Sorry, but I'm having a difficult time picturing this. I'm 6' and I'd have to contort myself wildly in hopes of reaching the center console cover and putting weight on it. Are you 8' tall?

 

I am talking about the speedo/tach gauges right in front of your face.

The wing CF is gonna fade regardless due to the **** poor UV protection in the clear.

I did buy JDM tails but thanks for your permission to do so...?

FYI, this thread is "10 things you don't like on YOUR Evo", not "10 things you dislike others not liking on THEIR Evo".

If I may, that's not really true. I mean the part about fading. There are many high-quality detailing products that offer long lasting protection against UV. Klasse's KSG is a good example of such an animal.

 

Just to make sure we are on the same page here, I am talking about the little storage compartment thing between the front seats. The one that has the flip up cover.

Anyway, so I am sitting in the driver seat, just parked and want to get the case for the faceplate of my stereo out of the glove box. Sometimes I lean on the storage compartment lid while I am reaching over to get at the glove box. When I do, it gives A LOT and I can hear cracking noises.

yeah, you know your right. good gas mileage is too much to ask for in a 2.0L 4cyl.

 

1.Payments
2.Loose steering (soon to be fixed with all new bushings, coilovers, swaybars)
3.Mitsu. Warranty.
4.Tires(Advans suck here in the Northeast in winter).
5.No Cruise control.
6.Clutch (burns out fast if car is moded).

I'll think of some more, but I'm at work............

 

Indeed! I wonder if AWD, 300whp, and 20psi of boost have anything to do with it?

 

I can only think of one thing that I dislike about my Evolution...The PAINT. After only 2 months and 2,800 miles, my hood and front bumper look like someone shot it with a shotgun. Other than that, this is the best car that I have ever owned. I bought it for performance and that is exactly what it gives me.

 

as i said before it woulda been great having the folding rear seats, i had to find out the hard way when i was going fishing and i couldnt throw the rods in the back, golf clubs fit perfectly back there though along with a pool cue.

the only thing i hate about my car is that when i armor all the dash i cant see out of the windshield...it pisses me off

 

+1...would be nice for the snowboard too

 

armor all = bad for the dash plastic. you are doing more harm than good and it will eventually lead to cracking. Use vinylex.

 

That shouldn't matter. I can name you several sports cars that have double the displacement of our cars and still get good fuel mileage.
