blue interior wtf?

 

he has an Evo VIII not IX...so he has blue Recaros

 

ahhh! nevermind. I thought he had blue interior as apposed to black(dashboard/doors/etc). Didn't know he was talking about the seats.

 

I could only think of 5.

1) Unwanted attention.
2) Ricers want to race me.
3) Insurance
4) Payment
5) Crappy radio/interior.

There are things I dont like about the car too but...

- You shouldnt really need to read the guages anyway. The oil and boost are only kind of useful for a given sitation.

- The manual even tells you to wax for effin cf wing. Put some Zaino on and you'll never have a problem.

- Yea tail lights suck, buy JDM ones.

 

And I dunno, my radio/cd player sounds just fine. It's actually pretty loud and crisper than a lot of other cars I've been in (Integra GSR, Mustangs, etc.)

 

1. the interior is kinda lame

2. no H.I.D.

3. No Cruise control

4. No climate control

5. The 5th synchro issue

6. The insurance

7. No alarm system at all

8. Crappy gauges

 

*The back seat does not fold down. I have needed to do this so many times!

*Gauge cluster lights too dim. Sun + Sunglasses = big mystery of what speed you are going.

*Why oh why 2 studs on the manifold side of the hotside?

*The undertray and all those fasteners

 

I can't believe people are listing things like cruise control, climate control, gas mileage, etc. I'll bet your motorcycle doesn't have enough trunk space and is bad in the snow!

 

LOL. You're right on there! If you're looking for luxury, then buy a freaking dime-in-dozen beemer. Otherwise get yourself a legendary car aka EVO.

 

1 to 10 - I wish it was 7speed !

And if I may add, the Mitsubishi engineers/designers know exactly what they are doing (before/after) building the Evo. But I bet you they have to hold back because the cost to have a fully modded factory Evo (so to speak) will be too costly (probably over $100k after by the time they are done) which means only the rich can afford (again!) and the rest of us "average joes" will just end up drooling and wishing - some day. Well, that some day has arrived and we have Mitsubishi Motors to thank!! Because they definitely kept their words, "the EVO is the best car for your bucks, you wanna see a rich man in a $250k european car cry like a baby, buy an EVO!!"

My 2004 E55 AMG was sexually molested by an EVO. And let me tell you it was one of the most painful feeling. I was in so much pain I went to see the doctor the following day. The doctor said I'm having a JDM panic attack (he said its very common with european car owners) so he handed me a prescription approval notice - he wrote "1 EVO MR - drive daily." The prescription cost me over 30k but it did help calm my nerves. I have another appt. with my doctor in June, this time around, I will request to increase my dosage to 400bhp. that may be the cure to my pain.

I almost choked on my Sprite reading this! LMAO

I can't think of 10 things I dislike about my car. The ones that I do have were already addressed earlier in the thread, but I will post them anyhow:

1. No cruise control - Yes, I understand this is a performance vehicle. I also agree that CC is a relatively easy thing to add to the car, but for as much as I paid for my Evo, they could have put cruise control on it from the factory.

2. Stationary rear seats - Fold-down seats are almost a given in most other 4-door passenger cars. Why not in my beloved Evo?

Actually, I correct myself; I do have one that I don't think was mentioned yet:

3. Center console storage compartment lid - When I put any weight on it, it feels like it is going to cave in. I've heard it crack a couple of times already and I am just waiting for the day it breaks.

Is it just me or are some of you guys far too nitpicky? I think this is a good point at which to remind some of you to relax, quit taking yourselves so seriously and if you aren't going to contribute to the thread, click that handy back button on your browser and go on to the next.
