I liked it.

Normally they don't know wtf they're talking about with Evo's....like tuning them with an afc and what not, but these articles were decent.

 

Id say for the past year I havent found anything useful from SCC. Reading the articles lately, it seems they have been written by 14 year olds for 14 year olds. I remember back when SCC was informative and useful. Now I contemplate even buying a copy.

 

SCC went through a massive staff tunover in the last 3 years.

 

My favorite issue of SCC was I think 2.5 years ago.

The cover title was: "Evo Orgy"


I believe the Sparco Evo, a Vishnu tuned Evo, Works Evo, and Turbo XS Evo were participants.

I have to check my basement for that issue.

 

i remember that issue! I need it! Evos haven't got that much press in the mag since "Evo Orgy" issue. It was 2003.

^It's the April 2007 edition...so it might be another 2 weeks before its on newstands.

 

I'm sure I have it somewhere in my basement.

It's probably in one of the boxes I still have unopened since I moved 1.5 years ago.

I have this issue! It is one of my favorites from SCC.

SCC loves their hondas, thats for sure!! Its nice to see the Evo get some props

 

I actually like SCC magazine. It's not as flashy as the other mags, but pretty good nonetheless. The November issue has the EVO Tuner Shootout article in it.

 

Compared to other magazines, yes, it does offer more info and less girls posing on cars (thats better in my opinion, if I want girls I can buy FHM or Maxim, or just use the internet).

As for SCC loving Hondas, they dont even have one project car thats a Honda. Plus the Evo was their pick for best car for a number of years before the new SI unseated it (based on value). They are hardly Honda fanboys.
