Because you don't really know what the clutch will hold now do we? Some say it will hold some say it won't. The only way to find out is to just do it. The idea is to put the C16 in turn the boost up and see how the car runs/feels the clutch will hold or it won't if it doesn't then I know to get a new clutch and try again if it holds well then I can keep doing it until the clutch doesn't.. I don't abuse the car like some do. I also have a feeling the guys running 35R's with race gas on stock clutches tend to be a little less abusive on their cars then others. To be honest my question really has nothing to do with the clutch. The only thing I am asking is how safe is just a wideband to monitor AFR without logging it?

 

higher octane fuel has a slower rate of burn in the cylinder. Therefore when you put in the c16 you would have to lean it out to get the mixtures proper, otherwise your just wasting fuel(the over amount in the cylinder does not burn as much and will just be spit out the tailpipe) and leaving power on the table.

 

Couldn't one lean the mixture out by adding more air IE turning up the boost?
