Has anyone broke this??

Alright guys i was looking for someone that could help me out. While removing the front bumper one of the two white plastic lock pins that attaches to the fender broke (i am sure this has happened to more then just me). I looked under the parts listing and came up with "MU488006 Front bumper clips" i am not 100% sure that this is what i need and was wondering if anyone else has had to go to their dealer and order one. Thanks guys.

I broke mine, but it did not seem to have any adverse effects when I put the umber back on, so i just left it broke.

I think those are rivets that hold the bumpers in place. You are supposed to break them when removing the bumper (you're supposed to drill them out). Replace them using a rivet tool.
Hope this helps

what are you talking about....Im pretty sure your doing something wrong if your drilling everytime you remove your fromt bumper. There is no need to drill anything. 10mm socket, phillips head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver are all you need.

You'll be fine as long as you have all the bolts in the right place.

you shouldnt think.. anyways, you could get new, but i have broken a couple, and its no biggie.. the bolts hold it fine.. there not a weight bearing item when the bolts are tight.. there just there for alinghment when installing.

Cool man i appreciate it. It is just one of those annoying things that are standing out to me right now. The longer it stays out the more i think about it. I don't know what has me more interested right now 1) how my lights will look in my ride when i get them back from EvoDave or 2) if that little POS will come in to the dealer before i get my lights back ? I guess it is a good kinda preoccupation .

something similar happened to me... But what actually broke was that little square on the end edge of it where you screw your wheel fender too. Im bringing it to the body shop and well see what they can do... You could try the same too, if that doesnt bother you at all just leave ir or try to fix it yourself....Im just a little different, even these little things seem to bother me. hah, but good luck bro.
