Fuel gauge doesnt work
just got done with my rebuild and mods and now my fuel gauge on the dash doesnt work it sits at E and the light is on and yes there is gas in the car. I was just wondering is there a sensor that is needed in the engine bay to make it work cause I have the ams vsr intake mani now, but there is a line that comes up by the fuel lines in the engine bay which looks like it would go to a sensor on the stock intake mani. Like an egr sensor or something. Since I have aem ems i dont have these sensors on the car. The only thing i did to the fuel tank was put in a modified buschur walbro fuel pump in. The car starts and everything the gauge just doesnt work.

Fuel pump
This same thing happened to me also when I installed the BR HO pump.
The little black handle part (the floater) that goes in the tank first when re installing the fuel pump assembly probably got hung up. You will need to take it all out again and make sure that this floater is able to move up and down freely. If not it will only read empty.
When I figured this out I was so pissed as it was so stupid of me not to think of it.
Good luck.
