most people will not be able to reach the point where you will notice the difference...

how many days will you actually be racing to really even matter?

better off improving driving skills vs the tool used.
personally from racing in rallyXs, people with more hp, weren't necessarily faster, or even ones who are lighter.
Biggest factor was the driver.

just retract the sunroof back and whaalaa all that weight disappears!! and its lighter because of the big empty hole where their would normally be heavy metal on all you non-sunroof cars!!

That's why I autocrossed so much better with it open! And I thought it was just because my head/helmet fit without having to tilt my head sideways, but your post makes so much more sense. ;-)
