Clutch install tomorrow

Hey all just letting you know I will be installing the clutch with help of Hi-Tuned Performance. Hi-Tuned Perofmace is a good DMS shop in St. Louis. I will be doing a write op on how to install the clutch without disconnecting the ACD line . That way you dont have to bleed the ACD. Also.....are thier any Do's or Dont's when installing the clutch? I got a new ACT flywheel and clutch.

a tip from what i did to get the TC off without disconnecting the ACD. have a stubby wrench for the top TC bolt behind the ACD line, have a friend put a broomstick through the intake runners onto the wrench, give a little whack to the stick with a hammer, and the bolt is broken loose! that's how i did it, then you just keep backing it out and pulling the TC along with it since you won't be able to get the bolt out of the TC. just save that bolt for last.

Sorry boys, the shop got to it early. They did NOT remove the ACD line. They said it was kinda a pain getting the tranny bolt out but all is good. Will have some pics up later.

ACT MB7 HDSS and the Prolight ACT Flywheel. I will be starting a new thread later tonight. The car is ruinning fantastic. I got the boost all the way down for break in 13psi. Im gonna heat cycle it a few time and put 300-400 miles on it before I go back to high boost 23 psi. God Damn I miss my car, its been down for 5 months!

I was gonna say good luck, but looks like you're already done. I guess the best luck is, you had someone else do it! What a PITA a clutch is on the Evo.

I like doing clutch installs...maybe thats why I am crazy and run a local EVO website! I can't get enough of it. My favorite part is lifting the tranny up. I wedge myself in between the floor and the tranny lift that sucker up there. Oh it is fun for me anyways.

Did I mention no air tools either?
