Why is the resale value of the XEDE so terrible?

I'll Never Run AEM / Standalone because i bleive in the right hands the stocker is way more capable than people make it out to be. Just my 2 cents.
THOSE ARE AWESOME 2 CENTS!!! I agree! That is where I will be shortly. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

The Xede has its place for now. Knock attenuation helps, so does the NTLS and launch control features. Finally, it makes a great safeguard solution if you have SMART and want to run meth.

Here in Southern California the XEDE has a reputation as being buggy and unreliable. I can't comment on that hearsay, but I will say that personally, my unit took a dump on me. Now, Vishnu was very helpful and replaced my unit, however once bitten...

I may use the conditionals like lean-run protect along with a flash. Haven't made up my mind yet...

I dumped mine and went with MAFT pro. I'm on meth with a 30r, 280s and the car runs great. Idle is rock solid. Speed den. is awesome.

I considered the maft pro. Is it an easy thing to setup/use? I hear all you have to do is "Type in" the AFR you want to see at WOT, and it will hit that every time. Is that true?

Yes it is. It's awesome, and it reminds me of Xede smart. Also I hear they have an update to control timming as well. I've not read this for myself yet, but it's really good so far, and it'll keep the AFR at 30psi. I'm running a 2.3 w/30r, 280s, and it runs great at idle, on the street, highway, drag strip, and autocross.

I also went through emissions testing with it with no problem No MAF codes thrown at all. I'm running it in speed density mode, so no MAF at all. VTA tial, and Meth.

It is definetly Something to consider!! Thanks for sharing. So there are benifits of using this and your stock/flashed ECU? I was told you CAN'T use a piggyback or a standalone, or an SAFC when using this part, and that it is user friendly and really simple to hook up/use.
