Exclamation Help with Walboro install (IX)

I'm currently installing a Walboro 255 in a IX and I can't seem to get the stock pump out of the housing. I don't want to pull too hard but it feels like there is another clip somewhere holding the actual pump in. Anybody have any ideas?

the pump is in there very snug you have to yank on it to get it out of the housing unit
