Well about 5 months ago I had bought a used car from a local well known dealership. Last week I was going to have my insurance switched over to a different place, well they had given me some bad news.
They asked me if I had bought the car brand new or not, I told them no that I bought it used with 6000 miles on it. Well she printed off this sheet, she handed it to me and told me, well this car has been in an accident and the total damage was 12,571.00. the only thing I could say was that I was gonna go back down to the dealership and ask them about it. I also told her that this isnt the first time this has happened to me. The same people that sold me this Evo sold me a wrecked G35 coupe also, thats why I got the Evo. Well The only thing I can do now is wait to hear what they say about it. Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else
Oh yeah and to everyone else from my experience just make sure you get a carfax check the vin # with your insurance agent and just be very careful. Just beacuse they are a local dealer and you know them very well doesnt mean that they wont rip you off
Thanks for any feed backs.

$12k may sound like a lot of damage, but for the Evo it really isn't. Parts are really expensive and working on them just costs a lot. I would find out how the car was hit and how the damage was repaired. You just want to make sure parts were replaced and not repaired.
