Post Privileged information that you need to know

Ok,

I really didn't have time to do a search so I think and I hope no one had this information. I just reveived a personal phone call from a Mitsubishi Senior Part Department member offering me a one in a life time sale Mitsubishi is doing.

According to him, Mitsubishi has never done such deal in their life. This is the information that I got and I wrote down on paper:

Mitsubishi is offering a complete Evo 9 engine fully assembled shipped from a Crate from Japan for a special and one time deal of $6995.

The engine includes :
turbo
exhaust manifold
Intake manifold
Altenator
timing belt
injectors
coilpacks
Throtlebody
Full brand new clutch assembly with flywheel
and off course, the entire engine is fully complete from oil pan to valve cover, not just a block

The entire engine comes with a 12month and 12000 miles warranty. The offer end the end of the month.

I just want to pass on the information. If this has been posted(I doubt it) please forgive me and accept my apologies but I believe I am passing you information that you never heard.

If you are interested you can contact the person that gave me the information. Ther person is Tony from the parts departament at the wildcat Mitsubishi dealer in Tucson, AZ

The number is (520) 3182001.

I haven't had to order complete engines with turbos yet but I can actually tell you that this sounds like a smoking deal. Good luck guys!

Carlos

Wow, very interesting information. It sounds to me like it is the same exact program except that back then(Dec 06) it was a project/paln and now it is a reality.

Thnak you very much for forwarding the link, my annotations were just a notebook and pen over the phone.

Again, thanks for sharing, you guys know how I am, I am always looking to help/save you guys money and hassle.

Well, you need a new ECU which implies a new wiring harness as well.

Where did you hear a crazy thing like that at. Because that is untrue. The only crate engines mitsubishi offers is for the chrysler powertrain vehicles.

It comes fully assembled I'd assume for a 1-2-3 bolt it in and go ? Where can you get mivic ecu.s or can you flash a 9 map onto an 8 ecu to run it correctly?
