Anyone been through Arbitration with Mitsu?
Cool, tell me more about this "chip"
the last i heard the "chip" was that thing that tricked the ecu into thinking that you were pushing the pedal more. unsuspecting people would install it, felt the "new" power when they push the throttle half way and was amazed. I got the same excitement by pushing the throttle more
MMNA was going to try the uk route and offer ralliart pieces. but due to their prior management changes (about 1 year ago) that project was put on the shelf. as far as they got was to make a web page to tease us all with.

Ha, thanks man. Hopefully you'll be ok. If my case turns out positive, I'm going to post a [hopefully] sticky thread that will contain VIN numbers, dates, locations, documentation, and modification lists of Evo's that have had warranty work completed with modifications. It won't be intended to sneak warranty work where not fair, but maybe it will establish a precedent for Mitsubishi to atleast work to identify the issue before they jump to any warranty denial conclusions in the future and save people unecessary hastle.

Just a small word of advice on posting that info. Make sure that you get permission from each of the owners of the VIN's you will be posting about. The last thing I'd want to see is you to get into legal trouble because the the privacy laws.
Arbitration result: DENIED.
