gnz- tarmac black is my fathers, g35 is my mothers and the spec miata is not a DD. I agree if I drove four cars this post would seem a little insignifigant, but in all honesty when I am home I get to drive all 3, I get to drive the miata when its SCCA season in the NE.

voodo- appreciate the words I agree with your sentiment very much. It's not that I cannot live or cope without it just that because I went out of my way like you explained it would be nice as a form of respect to help out in some way for the inconvenience.

Will, I will be stopping by sometime this week to pick up some parts, if you could let me know how much some fluid will be I will stop by and pick some up, new setup is on the way, 35R in two weeks.

Virgo **** off man why do you troll so hard? Everybody that has given a response has added to this thread and I have appreciated it greatly. I don't see how it harms anyone if this thread stays open and personally I would love to see a response from Jerry.

Because he said over the phone that he had the cash and was ready to put the cash in my hand as soon as he recieved the kit when I returned home. Saving on shipping for him was a plus and for me for the hassle, being that I would have to remove it when sold anyway, however this was not the case.

I was trying to help. I was helping in trying to help you realize the reality of things. I was also helping you in being reasonable and understanding of others. What do you want us to do? Hold your hand and cry with you?

the non-refundable deposit is nessecary whenever you deal with situations like these...man spend that money on college classes and learn how to write a bill of sale.

He should have at least offered something for your troubles .. but maybe since he saw that you have 4 cars figured you didnt need the $40... Maybe you should change "Rides" to your rides and not what your family owns for vehicles?

Live and learn ...... Then get luvs

Haha yeah agreed on the rides thing, oh well.

Virgo you already helped I already recieved your input and appreciated it but when you keep posting the same **** over and over it's pointless.

I agree with you that I will not end up with anything out of this specific situation, but others might be more aware of the importance of making sure you ask for a deposit or some sort of downpayment when doing transactions on the forums.

You could acknowledge you read this by pming me instead of posting because your just coming off as highly rude.

I don't do PMs, unless it's necessary. I want to let people see everything I say. If I get banned, or hated on, it does not matter to me. Put me on your ignore list if you want . I will now ban myself from your cry baby threads. I'm out of here.

Just call the cell when you are ready to buy the fluids. You may want to buy the Mobil 1 from Walmart in the 5qt thing. It will save you a few bucks doing so.

I don't think it's out of line to expect someone to pay for the fluids, especially when you've spent money as a direct result of their 'word' or lack of for that matter.

Regardless of whether or not you're putting it up for sale, you performed actions based on someone's junk word. Insurance should cover what supposedly happened to the car so them covering it shouldnt' be a concern.

Sadly, you live and learn. I've sold many parts and with stuff like this I wont remove anything from my car without a deposit to keep me from wasting my time on some child that can't make up their mind on what they want.

I agree with brian h. The guy should have full coverage, I don't know ANYONE that doesn't have it on their car. If he did have full coverage then his insurance should cover it minus the deductable.

Sadly, that's the risk with internet transactions. I have also had many (and only) positive experiences, on this forum and other ones, but I'm always skeptical of transactions - regardless of whether I'm the buyer or seller.

I would just suck it up and move on.

dude im sorry to hear that, a similar thing happen to me, when i first bought my evo. i was going to sell a set of rays wheels to a clubrsx member, well i had to pull them outa the garage clean em up and what not, threw that badboy in the trunk and went to show it to the guy. well he tells me he's interested and everything then when it came down to the day he was going to buy them i get a call saying he couldnt do it because he needed the money for something else blah blah blah. buddy should have just saved his breath, if he wasnt interested why act it. he was obvisously full of ****. and dont think anyone would pay you for you troubles just wont happen. anyways back to the drawing board, try selling it again you will eventually find a buyer. this is one of those you live you learn lessons. good luck with everything
