When i start my car from a cold start, there are some clicking sounds that come from where the alternator/pully area is. It sound like 4-5 clicks every second. As I give the car throtle, the clicking starts go click faster, so my guess is that it has to do with the belts or something spinning. As the car warms up, clicking slowly quiets down but can still slightly hear it. Any idea on what it might be?

 

i would like to know as well. mine does the same thing.

 

I don't know but the clicking i hear completely goes away after the car warms up... Has yours been sitting? I figured these cars just had a little valve chatter...

 

lifter tick? I have the same ticking esp. when its cold oustide. Search and you may see the light...

 

True... Dont know how cold it is there in Tx but it could just take a little to get that oil circulating. OP Try doing some more investigation as to where its coming from...

 

Weird... ticking sound went away.. isnt happening any more?
