I got yelled at once for posting that I coulnd't belive that my EVO didn't SPANK a modded WRX ..I was accused of thinking the EVO was "the fastest car in the world" or something..

Then I posted the fact that a Buick GNX absolutely ANHILIATED me on the freeway onramp..(I got over it though, when I found out later that it had like 500 HP and ****)

Well ladies..
I got ROASTED by a newer Dodge Viper getting on the freeway this evening..

I was actually going home, and was stopped just before the freeway on ramp. He was getting on, and even though it was the OPPOSITE direction for me to travel if I followed, I thought I would see if I could hang...

HEEELLL NO.

I goosed it right as he passed to get on and I hung on until I missed third gear shift, but by then it was ALL OVER cuz he was gone like a fricken 10 cylinder ROCKET SHIP..I felt like I was in a Honda Civic or something..


Oh well. Maybe if I had some mods I could maybe hang with these fricken monsters I always try to tangle with..

Or maybe I gotta get off my EVO soapbox and realized that our cars are fast, but they ain't no drag car..

Any thoughts?

what? i dont understand. you thought the evo was the fastest car in the world and you've been proven wrong like 3 times now and you still think so? or you dont? or what? evo isnt that fast, ive been saying this from the jump the minute i test drove it. only really fast cuz of its ability to launch and "regular" fast after its rolling. momentum helps out too

No I don't think the EVO is the fastest car in the world..

But I will admit, I am learning what it can mess with and I'm not quite sure the Vipers and GNX's are the ones..
Besides, these runs were for ****s and giggles, you know?

I couldn't pass upo the chance to run (or try to ) run with these cars...

You would have too, right?

 

Try running it on the track, where it will be an even race to start from stop.

 

Okay then...No more Vipers for this Lil Evo...

I'll stick to curvy roads and other challenges..

But maybe next time...........

i got confused by the sarcasm cuz a lotta people actually think like that. shiet a lotta poeple on here actually think that

shiet i woulda done the same, its all fun. i got mopped up just today pretty good by a ford lightening with an intake when i was drivin my dads S2000. i went into an open lane and gunned it like 1 second before him (like 3-4 car lengths) and he followed suit and by we the time we got to 90 he was in my *** crack begging for me to get out of the way so he could pass me. that shiet sounds mean

viper is definitely no joke. if it can post crazy sub 4 sec. 0-60 with out super traction 4wd just imagine the damage it can do from a roll.

Ya man, the Lightning ain't no joke. One of the fastest trucks produced I believe. A supercharged v8 5.4 liter, like 380hp, and 450 foot pounds of tourqe! 0-60 in like 6 seconds, pretty quick for a truck that weighs about 4,600 pounds Wooo!

 

Just give me the $50k.

 

Can we take a Vette with $50K in mods?

 

Or a Enzo with $50k mods, if you can even find $50k worth of mods for it.
