I could imagine that the car has around 10k+ damage done to it.

The one thing that really made me think it was totaled was inside on the passenger floor the carpet was bulging up into the car (some part of the suspension)...

but, airbags never deployed

time will tell, but it doesnt look good. If it is totaled, i will only get low-mid 20's for it so i dont think im going to be able to buy another evo

if u do only g about 20grand.. the 20grand will be to fix it.. and if u get 20 grand to fix it.. you keep the money.. and you part out every still working part of the car.. the engine n trann will be a good few thousand dollars.. along with every other single part of the car.. and u make about 30 grand.. and u should be able to afford a new one

Damn that sucks bro. Good thing you didn't hurt anyone too bad. From the sound of it you better hope it's totaled caus I wouldn't want that car back. Your insurance is going to skyrocket if you get another brand new evo. g/l

I don't know how your state is, but mine requires a police report on accidents with over $500 damage. I'm wondering if your insurance company will tell you to get one and if you'll then be ticketed for too fast for conditions.

Something else for you to worry about. Good luck.

Exactly, it was on a very low traffic road, i was dropping some friends off in a parking lot they all parked at.

No police report, talked to insurance company today and they didnt say anything about having a police report was necessary. They asked if police arrived on the scene, but, if some1 wants to charge me for the damage to the tree(really wasnt any at all, i bounced off of it) they can do that. I think the insurance let the police report thing slide because there were no injuries,no property damage, no other cars related in the crash. It was almost as if i ran into a tree in my own yard.

Pureplayer, if i can get 20k from insurance i think they demo my car, so i couldnt take out the seats/motor ect...

if i have the money i will buy a SE, but if i dont... im going to build up/turbo a 04 IS300 5spd.

I <3

but is300 will be a lot cheaper insurance, and with a turbo kit i will have pretty much a 4door supra with much nicer interior.

Im going to the lot to take pics on sunday, (you guys are going to freak when u see it) and i have to go back up to school in Gainesville for another 3weeks carless!!! until the seminster is over... then i figure out what to do with my cash...

Thanks guys, Im feeling a lot less depressed now, Its just a car and im glad no1 lost thier life or was injured.

Travis

Man I hate that for you. I hope everything works out.

A bunch of you young guys get pissed when us old farts tell you guys to take it easy out there on the street. It isn't because we feel like busting your ***** it's because we know sh*t like this can happen way too easily.

Good luck with getting everything settled. Don't worry about the car and just be happy none of your friends or yourself got hurt. Having someone else's blood on your hands would suck a lot more than wrecking you car.
