Sometimes I let my hubby drive it.....NOT my friends, they get 'rides' only

 

I only let my father drive my car when he's in town, and my close friend who respects cars the same as I do. I let a buddy at work drive it cause he begged me for days on end. He's a muscle car freak so he thought he would mash the gears and basically beat the ever loving **** out of it shifting like a fool. I was in the passenger seat and flipped out so bad he had to pull over and let me drive. Never again.

 

Not even my wife drives my EVO!

 

My father and I are the only two I'll let drive it.

Or someone else who has an evo - because I believe they will be able to respect it as I do.

I wont even let my fiancee drive it. :P

 

I'm hopefully picking up my brand new GG GSr within the next 2 weeks (pending my other car sells) and i haven't even gotten it yet and everyone thinks that they should be aloud to drive it! I DIDN'T EVEN GE TIT YET! So i totally agree with you, idk whats wrong with people!

 

i taught my g/f on it and another friend whose getting a manual a4. Other than that, my dad is the only other one thats ever driven it.

 

Let them know...Transfer case $2000-3000, clutch w/ labor $900, and transmission $4000...if they still feel like driving and have the check book ready...go for it.
I just say no, only say it one time...grow some ***** ...also...if they don't get it on the first no, ask them, "can i sleep w/ your wife or girlfriend?"

 

I would just say no period! If they had respect for you they wouldnt even ask to drive your new 23K dollar car!! Thats just my $.02! No one has asked me to drive my car......they know better.

 

let the gf drive it once and she slipped the clutch in first at 5k... never again

I'd rather be an a$$hole with an Evo than a nice guy with a friend that wrecked my car.

 

I guess I'm lucky that my gf cannot drive a manual transmission.

 

I only let my wife drive it. I taught her to drive stick on it. I needed her to drive it while I was deployed to make sure it would stay good to go.

 

i would never let someone drive it, only my wife. and the only time she drive is when i too buzz ha ha

 

+1 on this one. their not gonna be the one whose gonna pay when something happened to the car. all you get is SORRY!
