For anyone that's done this, what did you use to scrape the clearcoat off? I've been using a credit card, and the stuff that was already flaking off comes off easy. The rest is kind of a PITA to get off. Wondering what people have used. One earlier poster said "sharp plastic". Got any thoughts?

I finally did this this past week. Came out not too bad, certainly a lot better than they were. I used a credit card to scrape most of the clearcoat off both front calipers. The original clear on the bottom backside was still good, so I just sanded the edge of the old clear there to make it even.

Has anyone had to replace the Brembo logo.. mine is not so white anymore. I know they make stickers but I question how well those would hold up even with layers of clear over them.

I did not replace the logo. I scraped around (including in between and inside the letters) and a little more lightly over the top.

I used the VHT Satin, but I think the gloss might have been the better choice. Either way it is much better than before.
