I PAID 176.36 FOR SHIPPING COST ONLY...after two months of wait.. and plentys of phone calls.. i get an check in the mail.... they refunded me $15 bucks for the hood!!!!!! i called in they said they pay 50cent for every pound ... i mean what is this?? so if i ship like a 3grand laptop and it got smashed by fedex..thing only weights 10 pound so i got 5 bucks??? this is truely bull... i hope someone can help me out...they said they can't do anythign about it and they are going to contact my account representative to call me back..!!! FIRST TIME USING FREIGHT AND NEVER WILL AGAIN!!

THIS IS HOW I GOT MY BOX BACK AND THE DAMAGE..if anyone been through this..please help me out..$15 isn't even enough for sandpaper to sand down the hood...

What did you put as the declared value when you shipped it? They should refund you that amount.

Dude, fedex and ups are horrible!!! I've had too many late packages and last year, I bought a graphite driver (golf, off subject sort of) and the shaft was snapped!!! I mean snapped, give me a break!! Last year, they claimed they delivered some carbon parts for my GTi, which never showed up!!! Customer care and service are horrible in these companies, I hate trusting them for deliveries

man that is bull$hit for them to say .50 per lb. unless it was in fine print or something. Hope this works out in your favor in the end.

wow! that sucks man. I ordered something freight and the box was all torn up. I was stupid enough to sign for it, but luckily nothing was damaged. They really just don't care of things or are just getting too lazy. I personally believe, that they rip open the boxes to see what the hell is inside.

i told them i would even take this to court... sold it for $500 and got $15... they think its fair.... i believe they had a policy something like if its repairable..they will pay for it.. im going to have them repair it if possible... better than $15

I work in customer service for a hobby company and we get damaged claims all the time from them destroying our planes by crushing the box (the planes are just balsa and light covering no strength what so ever)

They refused a claim for a plane that had foot prints all over the box because it wasn't packed well, i told them what kind of packing do i use to prevent your guys from stomping on my stuff, they paid the claim but not the shipping.

I just call up asking for a manager i don't deal with the people at the bottom of the totem poll.
