Intercooler piping Always Falling Off????

Help please! I have the factory intercooler with the factory houses and t bolt clamps to hold them in place. I have been on the side of the road SEVERAL of times now taking off my bumper and putting the IC pipe back on the intercooler.

Any one have any tips on keeping the pipe on the car better? I thought T-Bolt Clamps should hold it every time.. I crank that b1tch all the way and in the middle of the pipe/hose so it should be fine every time. I'm running the stock boost with no MBC. Although I did "Overboost" the car a week ago and shot out a huge flame and the CEL came on. It was the overboost past factory limit code.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!

first off, where is it popping off of?? mine kept popping off of the throttle body, and about every time i boosted it did a big bang!!@@#@! Finally i got some hair spray, sprayed the inside of the hose and the contact area of the hose, and put 2 clamps side by side. Did the job ever since, and have not pulled over once in the past month

make sure you have the correct size Tbolt clamp...stock boost plus tbolt clamp should never have an issue.

Thanks for the input so far guys!!! Its just so weird that they always fall off... Maybe I need new silicone couplers.. Is the stock intercooler inlets 2.25?

Thanks

hey buddy. use some hair spray on the end of the pipes where the coupler meets and then clamp it on there. it shouldnt come off again.

3 Advices :

1. T-Bolt Clamps

2. Silicone Coupling

3. Refer to 1 & 2
