im a pretty tempered guy but i chose to be professional about the situation and get it resolved, besides i was pretty hungry so i didnt have energy for outbursts and yelling
The bodyshop guy told me he would actually repaint my entire front end(front bumper as well) because he said otherwise it wont look right.

800 to fix a lip?
80 sand paper on a da sander, get the scratches out
plastic filler
sand with 80
top coat filler sand with 180
180 sand paper on a da makes it fine
320 sand paper
primer
hand sand 320
500 sanded
scuff and shoot
thats like 50 for paint 5 hrs paint and probaly 8hrs hours body work
so should be like 500 tops
u should just try and get the money, and fix it urself and then get sum1 to paint it, a kindergardner can do this.

I meant higher quote bodyshop, not a higher quote alignment shop. Sorry for the miscommunication.
No, not actually. Just people who have some basic knowledge of bodywork.

$800.00 is a lot to paint the lip.
I scratched up my lip once and had Ultimate Collision Center repaint the lip for less than 1/4 of that price.
You may want to check if any of the clips that retain the screws that secure the lip to the bumper are damaged.
That may result in some extra work.
Good luck.

^^yea thats what i was thinking. Ill give it a shot tho and worst comes to worst, i get a freshly painted front bumper and front lip....
or what i think i should do for backup just incase he doesnt give me cash, i'll bring him a printed quote of a CF lip from DoLuck or something because its gonna be cheaper since it doesnt have to be painted. I'll even have the bodyshop install it for me...
