The pre-estimate was $4775 or so, but there's much more to come. After taking the bumper cover off and the lights out we could see that not only was the upper tie bar part of the radiator support bent, but the bottom portion of that support buckled. So add that part, welding, and paint into the mix as well as a possible frame pull. It's going from the shop to an exlusive body shop for all of that.

Either way- the insurance will be cutting another check once he's done with evaluating it.

 

Ouch man, things get real expensive when support bars get bent.. what's the total loss value on the car? Might be worth finding out depending on how bad the structural damage is....

 

Well I got her back today!!!!!!! And she looks GOOOOOD! Thanks to AMS, EvoDave, a few forum members, and of course Modified by KC for all their hard work!

Here's what was replaced:
Hood- went to CF with custom OEM grille
New Fender
Used, but good condition bumper cover and lip
Re-worked radiator support (needed some frame pulling)
Two new EvoDave MR headlights
EvoDave Amber sidemarkers

Heres what was new:
AMS Lower Intercooler pipe
AEM UEGO wideband
Autometer dual steering column guage pod
buffed and polished entire car including engine bay

Next new wheels and CF trunk and I'm set.
