Cheap stock gaskets???

so i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get stock gaskets for cheaper then getting them at a dealer?

also was wondering one thing. the stock gasket between the turbo and the manifold is steel, fully steel. there is no cork or anything like that in it. i just changed it about 2.5 months ago and im about to put a Full Race mani on there so i have to change it again. my question is, do i have to change it? i mean i know there is always a chance it could leak, but there isnt much crushing to these gaskets because they are all steel. has anyone not changed it and reused one?

i was just wondering, im going to get new one no matter what.

I have reused the MLS gasket for the turbo manifold ----> head on my DSM multiple times, as well as the manifold ---> turbo steel gasket. The only time I would replace it is if you had one with the raised section around the perimeter that actually gets crushed. Even then I would be a cheap *** and try it out.

Oh yeah and forced performance has cheap gaskets. Slowboy probably does as well, I buy lots of bolts and fasteners from them because they are super cheap.

I would just try your local dealer depending on what gasket you need.

If you could be a little more specific, i could help you to know exactly what you want to know. What gaskets exactly?

I've reused the ever-lovin'-crap out of OE exhaust manifold and O2 housing gaskets all the while using OE torque specs every time. I've never, EVER had one leak. This is on my own Evo of course, which has had soooooo many turbo swaps that I've honestly lost count. Granted, I'll throw in the standard disclaimer that it may not be wise, and do so at your own risk. On the other hand, I do use new gaskets on all my customer's cars unless they are dead set against it. Now, off the soap box...

I'd be willing to bet ANY of the larger aftermarket Evo providers can best the local dealership's pricing on OE gaskets. We get better pricing from and in turn can offer them at a better price point to the customer (I don't resale them except for installs). Some Vendors have already been named above, however, contact your favorite vendor first... you might be surprised!
