Just got mine in and had a question. How do you put the antenna clip on?

hahaha, I put mine on in the middle of winter in chicagoland and my roof was covered with salt. Literally rushed to go help a friend on the highway with a flat after I was done putting it on... it snowed the next day and I drive 80+ on the freeway in the morning.

6 months and 11k later and I've never had a single problem. Just make sure you clean things well with alcohol and then DRY THEM WELL when you put it on. 3m tape is amazing!

(just for that I'm sure mine will fall off in a day or two)

If it didn't leave a bunch of tape residue on your roof you didn't do something right.

My VG's fitment from rexspeed wasn't that good, for mine, the space between VG and the roof of my car was too big, plus there are space left off on both sides, so what i did was i double the 3m tape. so far so good, had it for about 2 months.

I ahve a gap where air can get inside my oem VG. No problems at 160mph.

Does anyone know the easiest way to take the VG off? I really want mine off. I want less downforce!

Hmm..just ordered mine for a IX, guess we'll see how it fits and if there are any issues...remember people, you can always use zap-a-gap with the accelerator ftw...Haha, j/k, please do not do that! Also ordered a shorty antenna to top it off, cant wait

Installed mine(speedelement) 3 days ago.Perfect fitment.Rain everyday since.Been up to 90mph.Feels nice and tight. As for the antenna clip it just slides in over the VG and under actual antenna.

My only worry now is I didnt paint mine because they come black and my car is TB.Wondering if this things gonna fade in the florida sun..

The biggest secret to really getting that tape to stick on there for good. Is to heat it up with a heat gun on low. Very lighty just to make the tape really sticky. That sucker will stay on forever!

this is an installer error.... PERIOD. a thorough prep would prevent this 100%. also never install this when its cold, or heat up the surface and double-sided tape well. alchohol is great for prep work as well as wax remover. such an install i add additional double-sided tape for extra security, never had an issue with this or any other install of this type.
