Performance Upgrades

I'm just curious, I just purchased a Red Evo the other day and I was wondering what minor improvements I can make to it to get more HP without swapping the turbo.

turbo timer: $80-$130 (dep. on brand and features)
gauges: $50 - +$600 (dep. on brand, features, and quantity)
intake : $80-$350 (dep. on brand and model)
turbo back exhaust : $450- $1100 (dep. on brand)
boost controller : $80-$550 (dep. on brand and features)
fuel /ignition tunning : $275 - $750- basic setup - either remapped ecu or piggy back. not standalone. $1500 - $3000 for a good standalone.

price ranges will be from minimum $1100 to $$$$$$ depending on what brands you get and installation prices and what not. those are the basic upgrades that put evo's in the 12's in the 1/4.

a turboback exhaust has more flow, and can eliminate a catalytic converter. You will definately find power in an exhaust on any turbo car...factory cars come a little..."Choked"

A turbo-back exhaust replaces the stock downpipe, catalytic converter, and rest of exhaust, whereas a cat back leaves the stock downpipe and cat in place.

Not that I want to be the voice of reason by any means but be sure to review the various threads on here about voiding your warranty with performance modifications.

Do a search on warranty. Lots of info out there.

Basically, no that will not void a warranty. You do run the risk of a dealer raising questions with a mod. Get cozy with the Moss-Magnuson act.
