Help!! HIGH-FLOW CATS-----Engine light On!!

I have just put a HIGH-FLOW CATS on my evo 8. Unfortunately, the engine light just show up, i think this is beacsue the HIGH-FLOW CATS. I know there are something on the market can fix this problem. Counld anyone tell me what i can get in order to fix this problem and where i can get it? I will much appreciate for your help!!! Evo Folks!!

Dont waste your money on a perrin "little machine" unit. Get the piece pictured above or pick one up from gruppe-s for $13 and you will never see that SES light again.

First off, most hfc's won't trip the cel.

Did you get the code pulled? If so what is it? Don't assume its your cat causing the cell until you pull the code and find out.

Some highflow cats don't clean the emmisions enough (my Perrin highflow trips the SES), the little cheater plug thing is the best way. After that you might as well get a test pipe.

As others have said, just do the anti-foulers. Mine took three months to throw a cel, but hasn't come back since. FYI its been a year and a half.

get a random tech hfc and you wont get a code

When you get exhaust and a flash does this still occur or does the flash remove the 2nd o2 monitoring?

Did you even check the code to see if it was the cat? For all you know it could be anything (even though the cat is highly likely to cause it given your situation.) Which HFC did you purchase?

I have used the "mechanical o2 fix" for about 2 1/2 years with my testpipe, Still no CEL
